Oman Sultani Decree No. 66/2014 Promulgating the Consumer Protection Law

Abrogating:

Oman Sultani Decree No. 81/2002 dated 28/08/2002

We, Qaboos bin Said Sultan of Oman,

Pursuant to the perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by virtue of Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996;

Consumer Protection Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 81/2002;

After the proposal made to Council of Oman; and

Based on the public interests requirements,

Issued the following Decree:

Article 1

The provisions of the attached Consumer Protection Law shall be applicable.

The present Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette.
