After perusal of the Statute of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996,

The Law regulating the Omani Citizenship promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No.3/1983 and its amendments; and

The Identity Card Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 2/1987; and

The Organizational Structure of the Royal Oman Police issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 89/1991; and

The Aliens Residence Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 16/1995; and

The Civil Status Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 32/1997; and

Based on the requirements of public interest,

Have issued the following Decree:
