Oman Sultani Decree No. 57/2021 On the Issuance of the Regulation of Oman Investment Authority

We, Haitham Bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman,

After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 61/2020 on the establishment of Oman Investment Authority; and

Based on the requirements of the public interest;

Have decreed the following:

Article 1

Oman Investment Authority shall be subject to the provisions of the annexed Regulation.

Article 2

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Investment Authority shall issue the regulations and decisions deemed necessary for the implementation of the provisions of the annexed Regulation. Until issuance of such regulations and decisions, the applicable regulations and decisions shall remain in force without contradiction to the provisions of the annexed Regulation.

Article 3

Any text that is contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of the annexed Regulation shall be abrogated.

Article 4

This Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force from the day following its date of publication.
