Oman Sultani Decree No. 54/2021 Implementing the Unified Law (System) for Combating Commercial Fraud of the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf

We, Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman

Pursuant to the perusal of the Basic Statute of the State;

The Unified Customs Law of the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf implemented by Oman Sultani Decree No. 67/2003;

Food Safety Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 84/2008;

Consumer Protection Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 66/2014;

Consumer Protection Authority System promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 53/2011;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 77/2020 concerning the Public Authority for Consumer Protection,

Decision of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in its 37th (thirty-seventh) session held in Riyadh in December 2016 adopting the Unified Law (System) for Combating Commercial Fraud of the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf;

Upon proposal to Majlis Oman; and

Based on the public interest requirements,

Have issued the following Decree:
