Oman Sultani Decree No. 53/2022 Concerning the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones and the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates
We Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman
Pursuant to the perusal of the Basic Statute of the State;
Oman Royal Decree No. 4/93 establishing the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates;
The Regulation of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 32/2015;
Oman Sultani Decree No. 75/2020 on the State Administrative Apparatus;
Oman Sultani Decree No. 105/2020 establishing the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones and determining its competences; and
Based on the public interest requirements;
Issued the following Decree:
Article 1
The affiliation of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates shall be transferred to the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones.
Article 2
The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones shall exercise the competence of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates in terms of drawing up general policy, organisation, control, supervision and unification of services, facilities and incentives offered to investors.
