Oman Sultani Decree No. 52/2019 On the Issuance of the Law of Partnership Between Public and Private Sectors

We Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,

Pursuant to the perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996;

Tender Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 36/2008;

The Privatization Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 51/2019;

After the presentation thereof to the Council of Oman; and

Based on the public interest requirements,

Hereby issue the following Decree:

Article 1

The Law of Partnership between Public and Private Sectors hereto attached shall come into force.

Article 2

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Privatization and Partnership shall issue the Implementing Regulation of the attached Law within a period not exceeding one (1) year as of the date of its entry into force and shall issue the necessary decisions to implement its provisions.

Article 3

Any text contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of the attached Law shall be abrogated.
