We, Qaboos Bin Said Sultan of Oman,

After the perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996; and,

The Law for the Regulation and Privatization of the Electricity Sector and Related Water Sector promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 78/2004;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 92/2007 on the establishment of the Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW), and the appointment of a Chairman thereon;

The Regulation of the Public Authority for Electricity and Water issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 58/2009;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 32/2012 on the delegation of some competencies;

Based on the public interest requirements;

Have decreed the following:
