Oman Sultani Decree No. 46/2014 Amending the Unified Agreement on the Investment of Arab Capital in the Arab States
We, Qaboos Bin Said, Sultan of Oman
After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996;
Oman Sultani Decree No. 29/1994 approving the accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the unified agreement for the investment of Arab capital in the Arab countries;
The (amended) unified agreement for the investment of Arab capital in the Arab countries acknowledged by the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit on its third session held in Riyadh on the 21st and 22nd of January 2013;
Based on the public interest requirements;
Have decreed the following:
Article 1
To ratify the abovementioned (amended) unified agreement for the investment of Arab capital in the Arab countries, according to the version attached hereto.
Article 2
The competent authorities shall deposit a ratification instrument on the aforementioned agreement according to its provisions.
Article 3
This Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force as of its issuance date.
