Oman Sultani Decree No. 44/2025 On the Issuance of the Law Regulating the Transfer and Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues
Amending:
Oman Sultani Decree No. 75/2019 dated 06/09/2019
We, Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman,
After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State;
Law on Combating Human Trafficking issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 126/2008;
The Penal Code issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 7/2018,
Law Regulating the Practice of Medicine and Allied Medical Professions issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 75/2019;
Upon presentation to the Council of Oman; and
Based on the public interest requirements,
Have decreed as follows:
Article 1
The provisions of the attached Law regulating the Transfer and Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues shall enter into force.
Article 2
The Minister of Health shall issue the Implementing Regulation of the attached Law as well as the necessary regulations and decisions for the implementation of its provisions, within one year from the date it comes into effect. Pending issuance thereof, the existing regulations and decisions shall remain in effect to the extent that they do not conflict with its provisions.
