Oman Sultani Decree No. 38/2019 On the Establishment of the Centre of Oman Credit and Financial Information Centre and the Issuance of Its Statute
We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,
After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996,
The Banking Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 114/2000,
And based on the public interest requirement,
Have decreed the following:
Article 1
A Centre shall be established under the name “Oman Credit and Information Centre” and shall report to the Central Bank of Oman, and which shall be subject to the provisions of the Statute enclosed herewith.
Article 2
The Oman Credit and Information Centre shall have a juristic personality besides the financial and administrative independence in carrying out its functions.
Article 3
All the assets, data and systems of the Bank Credit and Statistical Department of the Central Bank of Oman shall devolve to Oman Credit and information Centre.
