Oman Sultani Decree No. 35/2025 On the Establishment of the Investment and Trade Court and the Issuance of Its Law
We, Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman;
Pursuant to the perusal of the Basic Statute of the State;
Based on the Judicial Authority Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 90/1999,
The Civil and Commercial Procedure Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 29/2002;
The Law on the Simplification of Litigation Procedures regarding some Disputes, promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 125/2020;
Oman Sultani Decree No. 35/2022 on the Governance of the Administration of Judicial Affairs; and
Based on the public interest requirements,
Have decreed as follows:
Article 1
A court shall be established under the name "Investment and Trade Court", which shall be affiliated with the Supreme Judicial Council. Its headquarters shall be in the Governorate of Muscat, and the provisions of the attached Law shall apply in its regard.
