Oman Sultani Decree No. 30/2015 On the Establishment of Oman Corporate Governance and Sustainability Centre and the Issuance of Its Regulations
We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,
After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996;
The Capital Market Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 80/1998; and
Based on the requirements of the public interest,
Have issued the following Decree:
Article One
A centre to be called "Oman Corporate Governance and Sustainability Centre" shall be established and subordinated to the Capital Market Authority. The said Centre shall be subject to the provisions of the attached Regulation.
Article 2
The Centre shall have a legal personality, and financial and administrative independence, as well as the capacity to own, manage and dispose of fixed and movable funds. The Head Office of Centre shall be located in Muscat Governorate, and branches thereof may be established in other governorates.
