Civil Code

We, Qaboos Bin Said, Sultan of Oman,

After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996, and after referring to the Council of Oman,

And based on the public interest requirements,

Have decreed as follows:

The provisions of Civil Transactions Law enclosed herewith shall be effective.

This Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enter into effect three months following its publication date.
