We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,
Pursuant to the perusal of Oman Sultani Decree No. 26/1975 promulgating the Law setting up the Administration Apparatus of the State and its amendments;
Oman Sultani Decree No. 37/1973 issuing the Traffic Ordinance;
Oman Sultani Decree No. 35/1990 promulgating Royal Oman Police Law and its amendments; and
Based on the public interest requirements,
Have decreed the following:
Article 1
The provisions of the attached Traffic Law shall be applicable.
Article 2
The Inspector General of Police and Customs shall issue the rules and regulations necessary for the implementation of the present Law. The provisions of the regulations and decisions in force shall remain applicable to the extent that they do not contradict the provisions of this Law and until they are amended or abrogated.
