We, Qaboos Bin Said, the Sultan of Oman,

After perusal of the Law on the Regulation of the Administrative Apparatus of the State for the year 1975,

The Commercial Registration Law, Oman Law No. 3/1974,

The Commercial Companies Law, Oman Law No. 4/1974,

The Law on the Protection of Developing Industries, Oman Law No. 6/1974,

Based on the proposal of the minister of Commerce and Industry after being reviewed by the legislative Bureau,

have decreed the following:

General Provisions

The provisions of Article 1 were amended by virtue of Article 1 of Oman Sultani Decree No. 73/1996 dated 25/09/1996 and become as follows:
