Abrogates

Oman Sultani Decree No. 43/1996 dated 08/06/1996

We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,

After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State, issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996;

The System for the Practice of Veterinary Medicine and the Establishment of Private Veterinary Clinics issued by Oman Sultani Decree 43/1996; and

The decision of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf to adopt the Law

On the Practice of Veterinary Medical Professions, taken in its thirty-second session held in Riyadh on 19-20 December 2011;

Upon presentation to the Council of Oman; and

Based on the public interest requirements;

Have decreed the following:

Article 1

The provisions of the attached Law on the Practice of Veterinary Medical Professions shall enter into force.

This Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette.
