The Convention on the Rights of the Child to which the Sultanate acceded by virtue of Oman Sultani Decree No. 54/1996;

The Personal Status Law issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 32/1997;

The Prisons Act issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 38/1998;

The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Law issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 17/1999;

The Civil Status Law issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 66/1999;
