We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,

After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996,

The Omani Penal Code promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 7/1974 and its amendments,

The Banking Law, Oman Law No. 7/1974 and its amendments,

And the Law on the Practice of the Pharmacy Profession and the Regulation of

Pharmaceutical Establishments promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 41/1996,

And based on the public interest requirements,

Decree the following:

Article 1

The provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Control Law here-attached shall come into force.

The Minister of Health shall issue the Implementing Regulation of the Law here-attached.
