Oman Sultani Decree No. 14/2021 Regarding Military Promotions and Appointments
We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Brigadier Nasser bin Saleh bin Saud Al-Maawali is hereby promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed Secretary General of the National Security Council in the Royal Office.
Article 2
Brigadier Sulaiman bin Khalid bin Sulaiman Al-Zakwani is hereby promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed Secretary General of Military Affairs in the Royal Office.
Article 3
Brigadier Salim bin Ali bin Bader Al-Hosni is hereby promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed Commander of Royal Guard of Oman.
Article 4
Brigadier Musallam bin Mohammed bin Taman Jaaboub is hereby promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed Commander of the Sultan's Special Force.
Article 5
Major General Abdullah bin Ali bin Hamad Al-Harthy is hereby appointed Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations.
