Oman Sultani Decree No. 11/2016 On the Issuance of Takaful Insurance Law

Oman Sultani Decree No. 45/2021 dated 17/06/2021

We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,

After perusal of the Statute of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 101/1996; and

The Commercial Companies Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 4/1974; and

The Insurance Companies Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 12/1979; and

The Capital Market Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 80/1998; and

After the presentation to the Council of Oman; and

Based on the public interest requirements

Have issued the following Decree:

Article 1

The provisions of Takaful Insurance Law hereto attached shall come into force.

This Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette.

Issued on Jumada Al-Awwal 26, 1437 H.
