We, Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman

After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 5/1981 regulating the usufruct right over the lands of the Sultanate of Oman;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 88/1982 on the approval of the Implementing Regulation governing the usufruct over the lands of the Sultanate of Oman;

The Law on Oil and Minerals promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 8/2011;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 93/2020 changing the name of the Ministry of Housing to become the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, and determining its competencies, and approving its organisational structure;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 96/2020 changing the name of the Ministry of Oil and Gas to become the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, determining its competencies, and approving its organisational structure;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 128/2020 on the establishment of a Closed Shareholding Company under the name of Energy Development Oman (S.A.O.C); and

Based on the public interest requirements,

Have issued the following Decree:
