Oman Sultani Decree No. 107/2020 Establishing the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, Determining Its Competences, and Adopting Its Organisational Structure

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

Oman Sultani Decree No.6/2013 Establishing Al-Raffd Fund and Promulgating Its System,

Oman Sultani Decree No. 36/2013 Establishing the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Promulgating Its System,

and the System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 75/2020,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

A public authority named the "Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority" is hereby established. It shall have legal personality, shall enjoy financial and administrative independence, and shall be subordinate to the Council of Ministers.

Article 2

The headquarters of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority shall be in the Governorate of Muscat, and branches of it may be established in other governorates by a decision of the board of directors.

Article 3

The competences of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority are hereby determined in accordance with the attached Annex 1.
