The permits to bring non-Omani workforces shall be suspended for a period of six months in the private sector establishments operating in the construction and cleaning business, and shall keep on covering leave entitlements.

The decision is not applicable to the establishments registered under the excellent grade category, international and consulting grade companies, the establishments which carry out governmental projects, the establishments owned by a full timer employer registered in the General Authority for the development of small and medium enterprises (PASME), and the insured parties in the Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI).

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force as of 4 May 2014
