Oman Ministerial Decision No. 66/2017 On the Cases and Procedures for the Notaries' Provision of Services Outside Their Offices

Pursuant to Oman Sultani Decree No. 47/2000 on the Determination of the Competencies of the Ministry of Justice, and Approval of its Organisational Structure;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 47 of 1998 on the Issuance of the Financial Law;

Law of Notaries issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 40/2003;

Oman Ministerial Decision No. 209/2003 on Cases and Procedures for the Notaries' Provision of Services outside their Offices;

The approval of the Ministry of Finance; and

Based on the public interest requirements,

The following Decision has been issued:

Article 1

The notary's provision of services outside his office to carry out any transaction within the scope of his competence in the cases he deems appropriate, and preventing the concerned parties from attending to his office shall be in accordance with the following procedures:

1. The application shall be submitted in writing and signed by the concerned parties and indicating the reasons for the request, the place of attendance, the type of transactions required to be performed, and the number thereof.
