Oman Ministerial Decision No. 65/2025 On the Work System of the Committee for the Affairs of Advocates and Legal Consultants

Abrogates:

Oman Ministerial Decision No. 60/1999 dated 05/06/1999

After perusal of the Advocacy and Legal Consultancy Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 41/2024;

Oman Ministerial Decision No. 60/1999 on the formation of the Lawyers’ Admission Committee and regulation of its records and relevant procedures; and

Based on the public interest requirements,

The following has been decided:

Article 1

The annexed Work System of the Committee for the Affairs of Advocates and Legal Consultants shall be applicable.

Article 2

Aforementioned Ministerial Decision no. 60/99 shall be abrogated, and any provisions deemed contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of the enclosed Work System shall be abrogated.

Article 3

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and it shall come into force from the date of its publication.
