Based on the Labour Law issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 35/2003,
Oman Ministerial Decision No. 570/2012 on the Regulation governing the Formation, Functioning and Registration of Trade Unions and Federations of and the General Federation Oman Trade Unions,
Oman Ministerial Decision No. 294/2006 on Collective Bargaining, Peaceful Strike and Closure,
And based on the public interest requirement,
It has been decided:
Article 1
The provisions of the Regulation enclosed herewith governing the Formation, Registration and Functioning of Trade Unions and Federations and the General Federation of Oman Trade Unions shall be put into effect.
Article 2
The administrative bodies of Trade Unions and Federations, and the Board of Directors of the General Federation of Oman Trade Unions, existing on the date of implementation of this Decision shall remain operative until the date of termination of their term, unless expired for any other reason.
