Oman Ministerial Decision No. 499/2023 Issuing the Executive Regulations of E-Commerce

Pursuant to the Oman Sultani Decree No. 97/2020, amending the name of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to the “Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion”, specifying its competencies and adopting its organizational structure; and

Based on the requirements of the public interest;

It has been decided as follows:

Article 1 - Scope of Application

The provisions of the attached Executive Regulations shall apply to E-commerce.

Article 2 - Publication and Entry into Force

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force ninety (90) days after its publication.
