Oman Ministerial Decision No. 45/2017 On the Issuance of the Regulation Governing the Safe Management of Commercial Vessels

Based on the Maritime Code promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 35/1981;

Law governing Maritime Navigation in Territorial Waters issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 98/1981;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 60/1984 on the Accession of the Sultanate to the International Conventions for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea and for the Safety of Life at Sea;

And based on the public interest requirements,

It was decided:

Article 1

The provisions of the enclosed Regulation on the safe management of commercial vessels shall enter into effect.

Article 2

All that contradicts the enclosed Regulation and violates the provisions thereof shall be abrogated.

Article 3

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into effect on the day following the date of publication thereof.
