Oman Ministerial Decision No. 35/2020 On Approving an International Standard as an Omani Binding Standard Specification
Based on Oman Sultani Decree No. 11/2017 on the determination of the competencies of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the approval of its Organisational Structure; and
Based on the requirements of the public interest;
Article 1
The following international specification related to cement products shall be approved as an Omani binding specification:
BS EN 197-1:2011 Cement, Composition, specifications, and conformity criteria for common cements
Article 2
An administrative fine that does not exceed (1000) one thousand Omani Rials shall be imposed on whomever violates the provisions of this Decision. Such fine shall be doubled in case of repeating the violation.
Article 3
The present Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall come into force from the day following the date of its publication.
