Oman Ministerial Decision No. 352/2016 On Banning the Import of Live Birds From Certain Countries
Based on the Veterinary Quarantine Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 45/2004,
The Implementing Regulation of the Quarantine Law issued by Oman Ministerial Decision No. 107/2008,
The recommendation of the competent veterinary authority on banning the import of live birds, and their products, derivatives and residues from certain countries,
And based on the public interest requirements:
It has been decided:
Article 1
It is not allowed to import live birds or their products, derivatives and residues from Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of Austria, Kingdom of Holland, Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Sweden, the following States of the Republic of India (Haryana, Karnataka, Punjab), until the reason for the ban is eliminated, and upon the issuance of a Decision in this regard.
Article 2
Competent authorities, each within its own competence, shall implement the present Decision.
Article 3
The present Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall be put into effect as of its publication date.
