Oman Ministerial Decision No. 255/2020 On the Issuance of the Implementing Regulation of Animal Welfare Law

After perusal of the Animal Welfare Law issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 21/2017;

Decision of the GCC Agricultural Cooperation Committee in its 22nd meeting held in June 2011

on the approval of the Implementing Regulation of the Act (system) of Animal Welfare for the

States of Cooperation Council for Arab States of the Gulf; and

Based on the public interest requirements,

The following has been decided:

Article 1

The provisions of the Implementing Regulation of the Animal Welfare Law, attached hereto, shall apply.

Any provision that is contrary to the attached Regulation or that contradicts its provisions shall be abrogated.

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and it shall come into force from the day following the date of its publication.
