Oman Ministerial Decision No. 205/2018 Approving Omani Standard Specification as Binding

Based on Oman Sultani Decree No. 11/2017 on the determination of the competencies of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and approval of its organisational structure;

And based on the public interest requirements;

The following has been decided:

Article 1

The attached standard specification on automotive fuel - Unleaded Gasoline, shall be considered as a binding Omani standard specification.

Article 2

An administrative penalty that does not exceed OMR (1000) shall be imposed on whomever contradicts the provisions of this Decision, and shall be doubled in case of recidivism.

Article 3

The present Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall come into force (6) months following the date of its publication.
