Oman Ministerial Decision No. 1/2026 On the Issuance of the Implementing Regulation of the Omani Citizenship Law
Abrogates
Oman Ministerial Decision No. 92/2019 dated 02/06/2019
Based on the Omani Citizenship Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 17/2025;
The Implementing Regulation of the Omani Citizenship Law promulgated by Oman Ministerial Decision No. 92/2019;
The approval of the Ministry of Finance; and
Based on the public interest requirements,
The following has been decided:
Article 1
The provisions of the Implementing Regulation of the Omani Citizenship Law, attached hereto, shall enter into effect.
Article 2
The aforementioned Implementing Regulation of the Omani Citizenship Law*[1] shall be abrogated. Any provision contrary to the attached Regulation or contradicting with its provisions shall be also abrogated.
Article 3
This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall come into force from the day following the date of its publication.
