Oman Ministerial Decision No. 16/2012 On the Formation of Conciliation Committees and the Determination of Their Headquarters, Scope of Competence and Session Dates

Amended by virtue of

Oman Ministerial Decision No. 79/2015 dated 18/05/2015

- Based on the Judiciary Law issued by virtue of Oman Sultani Decree No. 90/1999; and,

- The Conciliation Law issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 98/2005; and,

- Oman Ministerial Decision No. 288/2006 on the formation of conciliation committees and the determination of their headquarters, scope of competence and session dates,

- And based on the requirements of public interest,

The following was decided:

Article 1

The provision of Article 1 was amended by virtue of Article 1 of Oman Ministerial Decision No. 79/2015 dated 18/05/2015 and became as follows:

The Conciliation Committees shall be formed in the governorates of the Sultanate, and the headquarters and scope of competence of each of them shall be determined as follows:

First: Muscat Governorate:

1. Muscat Conciliation Committee, based in the province (wilayat) of Bawshar.

2. Aamerat Conciliation Committee, based in the province of Aamerat .
