Oman Ministerial Decision No. 143/2016 On the Extension of the Temporary Ban of Recruitment of Non-Omani Workforce for Some Professions
Pursuant to the Labour Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 35/2003;
Oman Ministerial Decision No. 608/2013 on the temporary ban of recruitment of non-Omani workforce for some professions;
Oman Ministerial Decision No. 331/2015 on the extension of the temporary ban of recruitment of non-Omani workforce for some professions; and
Based on the public interest requirements;
It was decided:
Article 1
The period of the temporary ban of recruitment of non-Omani workforce at the private sector's facilities, determined in the aforementioned Ministerial Decision no. 608/2013, shall be extended for another six-month period.
Article 2
This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force as of 1 June 2016.
