Based on the provisions of the Commercial Companies Law, Oman Law No. 4/1974 and its amendments; and

Based on the public interest requirements,

The following Decision was issued:

Article 1

The attached Rules and Conditions shall apply with respect to the election of members of Board of Directors of Public Joint-Stock Companies and the determination of their duties.

Article 2

Public Joint-Stock Companies shall amend their Articles of Association in accordance with the provisions of these Rules and Conditions.

Article 3

The present Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall come into force from the date of publication thereof.
