Oman Ministerial Decision No. 125/2022 On the Issuance of the Regulation for the Construction, Management and Operation of Sea Berths Outside Ports

Based on the Law governing Maritime Navigation in Territorial Waters promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 98/1981;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 90/2020 on the Establishment of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Determination of its Competencies and

Approval of its Organisational Structure;

The approval of the Ministry of Finance;

Based on the public interest requirements,

Decides

Article 1

The provisions of the enclosed Regulation for the Construction, Management and Operation of Sea Berths outside Ports shall enter into effect.

Article 2

The subjects of this Regulation shall regularise their statuses according to its provisions within six months from the date of its entry into force.

Article 3

Any provision that contradicts the enclosed Regulation or conflicts with its provisions shall be abrogated.

Article 4

The present Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and it shall come into force as of the day following the date of its publication.
