Oman Ministerial Decision No. 108/2015 On the Extension of the Authorization Suspension of Recruiting Non-Omani Workforce Temporarily in Certain Professions

Pursuant to the Labour Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 35/2003; and

Oman Ministerial Decision No. 338/2014 on the extension of the authorization suspension of recruiting non-Omani workforce temporarily in certain professions; and

Based on the public interest requirements,

Decides as follows:

Article 1 - Extension Period

The period of the authorization suspension of recruiting non-Omani workforce operating in the field of construction and hygiene in the private sector facilities as determined in the above-mentioned Ministerial Decision no. 338/2013 shall be extended for another six (6) months.

Article 2 - Publication and Enforcement

This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced as of 01 July 2015.
