According to Maritime Code promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 35/1981;

Law governing Maritime Navigation in Territorial Waters issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 98/1981;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 60/1984 on the accession of the Sultanate to the International Convention for the Regulations Preventing Collisions at Sea and the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 19/2008 on the Determination of the Competencies of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, and Approval of its Organisational Structure;

International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code issued by the International Maritime Organisation by virtue of Decision No. (17) A.718 and its amendments;

International Code for the Safe Carriage of Radioactive Materials issued by the International Maritime Organisation by virtue of No. (18) A.748; and

Based on the requirements of the public interest;
