We Qaboos bin Said Sultan of Oman,

Based on the proposal of the Minister of Social Development on the promulgation of a law for the commercial register,

Have promulgated the following Law:

Article 1

The provisions of Article 1 were amended by virtue of Article 1 of Oman Sultani Decree No. 88/1986 dated 03/12/1986 and became as follows:

A secretariat shall be established for the commercial register at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and it shall be entrusted with keeping a register called the commercial register wherein the information related to traders, companies, and public juridical persons, in accordance with the provisions hereof.

Article 2

The provisions of Article 2 were amended by virtue of Article 1 of Oman Sultani Decree No. 88/1986 dated 03/12/1986 and became as follows:
