We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,

After perusal of the Oman Sultani Decree No. 26/1975 promulgating the Law on the Regulation of the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

And based on the public interest requirements,

Issued the following Decree:

Article 1

The provisions of the attached Law concerning insurance companies shall come into force.

Article 2

Any text violating this Law or contradicting its provisions shall be cancelled.

Article 3

This Law shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force from the date of publication thereof.
