Oman Decision No. 757/2024 On the Issuance of the Regulation for the Protection of Travellers’ Rights

Acting upon Oman Sultani Decree No. 65/2006 on the Approval of the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air;

The Civil Aviation Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 76/2019;

The Implementing Regulation of the Civil Aviation Law issued by Oman Decision No. 116/2023; and

The approval of the Board of Directors of the Civil Aviation Authority; and

Based on the public interest requirements,

It is hereby decided as follows:

Article 1

The Regulation for the Protection of Passenger Rights is hereby enacted.

Article 2

Any text that is contrary to the attached Regulation or inconsistent with its provisions shall be abrogated.

Article 3

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and it shall come into force from the day following the date of its publication.
