Oman Decision No. 6/2019 On the issuance of the Regulation of the Drinking Water Service

Based on Oman Sultani Decree No. 92/2007 on the Establishment of a General Authority for Water, and the Appointment of a Chairman thereof;

The Regulation of the General Authority for Water issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 58/2009;

The approval of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Water;

The approval of the Ministry of Finance; and

Based on the public interest's requirements,

The following Decision has been issued:

Article 1

The Drinking Water Service shall be governed by the provisions of the attached Regulation.

Any text contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of the attached Regulation shall be abrogated.

The present Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force as of the first of August 2019.
