Oman Central Bank Decision No. 55/3/2014 On the Establishment of the Supreme Committee for Financial Stability and the Issuance of its Implementing Regulations

Based on the Banking Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 114/2000;

The approval of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman in its session No. 7/13/1625/2527/م م held on 20 May 2013;

Based on the public interest requirements;

Has decided the following

Article 1

A committee so-called the “Supreme Committee for Financial Stability” shall be formed in the Central Bank of Oman and the provisions on this matter of the regulation hereby attached shall come into force.

Article 2

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force on the day following its publication.
