Oman Decision No. 531/2024 On the Controls and Procedures for the Use of Remote Audio and Visual Communication in the Works of the Notary Public
After perusal of the Law of Public Notaries promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 40/2003;
Oman Decision No. 322/2023 on the digital transformation of Notarial Services; and
Based on the public interest requirements,
The following has been decided:
Article 1
The annexed controls and procedures shall apply to the use of remote audio and visual communication in the works of the Notary Public.
Article 2
Any provision that contradicts this Decision and the attached Controls, or that conflicts with their provisions, shall be abrogated.
Article 3
This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette. It shall come into force from the first of December 2024.
