Oman Decision No. 103/2022 On the Issuance of the National Data Strategy

Based on the National Documents and Archives Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 60/2007;

Law on the Classification of State Documents and the Regulation of Protected Places issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 118/2011;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 31/2012 on Establishing the National Centre for Statistics and Information;

Oman Sultani Decree No. 40/2014 on Issuing the National Centre for Statistics and Information Law;

The Statistics and Information Law promulgated by Oman Sultani Decree No. 55/2019;

After the approval of the Council of Ministers; and

Based on the public interest requirements,

The following has been decided:

Article 1

The National Data Strategy herewith attached shall apply.

Any provision that contradicts the attached Strategy or conflicts with its provisions shall be abrogated.

The present Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall come into force from the day following the date of its publication.
