Lebanon Law of 1937 Foreigners Having Acquired Citizenship by Naturalisation

The following Law, was passed by the Parliament and promulgated by the President of the Republic, worded as follows:

Article 1

A foreigner who has acquired Lebanese citizenship by way of naturalisation may not assume a public office or a position with a salary paid by the government, a public administration, or a concessionary company before the lapse of ten days from the date of their naturalisation.
