The President of the Lebanese Republic,

Pursuant to the perusal of the Lebanese Constitution, particularly Article 58 thereof;

Considering that the Government referred the urgent draft law on the Regulation of Insurance Companies to the House of Representatives by Lebanon Decree No. 4851/1967 dated 21/10/1967;

Recognizing that more than 40 days have passed without a decision from the House of Representatives on the aforementioned draft law;

Acting upon the proposal of the Minister of Economy and Commerce; and

Based on the approval of the Council of Ministers on the session held on 24 April 1968,

Hereby decrees the following:
