The President of the Lebanese Republic,

Based on the Lebanese Constitution, particularly Article 58;

Whereas the Government, pursuant to Lebanon Decree No. 10845/1968 dated 10/09/1968, has referred to the Parliament an urgent draft law concerning the acquisition of real property rights by non-Lebanese in Lebanon;

Whereas more than forty (40) days have passed since the referral of the aforementioned draft law to the Parliament without it being decided upon;

Based on the proposal of the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Finance; and

Upon the approval of the Council of Ministers in its meeting held on 02/01/1969,

Decrees the following:

Article 1

The urgent draft law concerning the acquisition of real property rights by non-Lebanese in Lebanon, referred to the Parliament by Decree No. 10845 dated 10/09/1968, shall come into effect and shall read as follows:
