The Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Insurance Regulatory Unit,
After perusal of:
Kuwait Law No. 125/2019 Concerning Insurance Regulation as well as its Implementing Regulation and its amendments;
Kuwait Decree-Law No. 67/1980 On the Promulgation of the Civil Code, and its amendments;
Kuwait Law No. 16/1960 On the Promulgation of the Penal Law, and its amendments; and
The relevant laws, regulations and decisions issued by the government authorities in the State of Kuwait, and their amendments;
Based on the Decision of the Supreme Committee of the Insurance Regulatory Unit in its Meeting No. (7) of 2025 held on 06/08/2025; and
Based on the public interest requirements;
Has decided as follows:
Article 1 - Definitions
A new definition was added by virtue of Article 1 of Kuwait Decision No. 28/2025 dated 01/10/2025, as follows:
The following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned against each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
